Bakewell, Derbyshire

DE45 1AH, Bakewell, United Kingdom

Sat 28th September 2024

Starting at 08:00

3 races

£31.02 - £46.53

Organiser's Description

The Peaks Tour sportive takes riders on an adventure through the Peak District National Park. All three routes start at Bakewell Showground and head north through the National Park making their way to the Hope Valley.

In true Peak District fashion, there is plenty of both - short, savage as well as long, enduring climbs on all the routes. But don’t be discouraged, you’ll be rewarded with spectacular views at the top and long winding descents on the way down.

On the Long Route, you'll hit the high point at Whetstone Ridge, but with other climbs including Mam Tor, Gun and Sir William's Hill along the way, you'll feel all 2613m of ascent in your legs by the end.

Whilst this will certainly be a challenge, you won’t want to miss out on the chance to ride this event through the Peak District, which is set to be a glorious day of riding.

Of course, you’ll be rewarded for all your efforts as you cross the finish line to receive a finisher medal and other goodies from our partners. We look forward to seeing you on the start line in Bakewell in September.
