Welsh 1000m Peaks Race
Organiser's Description
Now in its 50th year, the Welsh 1000m peaks truly is a classic fell race. The long course takes in the five highest mountains in Wales, starting at sea level and finishing on top of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). The short course is still a great challenge, covering 3 peaks and finishing on the highest mountain in England and Wales.
This is a tough challenge, testing your strength, endurance and navigational skills. Are you ready to face this gruelling challenge which, at 32k and 2800m of climb is a tremendous test of strength, endurance and navigational skills? If you're not sure, we have the shorter 12k route, still a great challenge, starting in the Ogwen valley and visiting three 1000m peaks.
Distances
32 km, 12 km
