THE HISTORY
We are now launching our 4th Cheltenham 7s festival and we can’t believe it. It simply would not be happening without you. In 2021, after the lockdowns you took a chance with us and braved the rain… Let’s face it, we all just wanted a party and to have tonnes of fun and that’s just what we did with sport, music, and drinking, what’s not to love?

2023 was mega, huge headline acts, the introduction of new sport and needless to say…. the rugby royalty galore. Some of you never went to bed, some partied all night long, and some came out partying in just a thong. We had fire dancers, cocktail bars, rides and you guys brought the action.

THE SPORT
This year we’ve added more sport, more prizes and games. Last year we had the pleasure of over 110 teams competing across 8 sports categories.

We’ve also listened to your feedback and so this year we’re giving you control over how many people you can add to your team ticket! Giving you the best value for money possible for those that aren’t even playing but want to come along and support you, just add them to your team and they can have the best weekend ever without breaking the bank. Let’s all get ready for that festival season.

THE FESTIVAL
Welcome to the UK’s best up-and-coming sports & music festival. A spectacular show of music, sports, entertainment, food, drink & much more!

Join us on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th July 2024 at Newlands Park, Cheltenham. Acts, bands, DJs and endless entertainment including sport for the whole weekend. Ideal for festivalgoers, sport lovers and families.

You don’t have to be taking part in the sport, to be a part of this unique event. We are not just a sports festival, we are an inclusive festival. Bringing people together through music and sport.

The Colour Run is a chance for everyone to celebrate in true Cheltenham 7s style on Friday 19th July. The run will be fun, vibrant, joyful and crazy! It will start at 6:30pm and will be a marked 5km route around Newlands Park.

If you don’t know what a Colour Run is… it’s simple… you run, walk, skip or jump your way around our 5km course where our volunteers, your supporters and fellow runners will be throwing coloured powders in the air for you to go through.

The only rule is to finish the run plastered in as much colour as possible! Once you’ve completed the run you will be given your medal, finishers goodie bag and free pint! Then, should you wish to use them, you will have access to changing rooms and showers, or wear it like a champions badge of honour and stay plastered in your colours for the festival! We’ve got huge music acts, fully stocked bars and food, so what are you waiting for?
