A dirt path runs along the edge of a field with clear blue skies and scattered white clouds above. A dense line of trees borders the field on the left, while open, golden-brown farmland stretches out on the right. A scenic landscape featuring rolling hills covered in dry and green grass, with a few scattered trees. The sky above is partly cloudy, with fluffy white clouds dispersed throughout, adding depth to the bright blue backdrop. A narrow dirt path runs alongside a wooden fence, bordered by dense green trees to the left and a vast, open field to the right. The sky is bright blue with scattered clouds, and rolling hills can be seen in the distance under the sunny, clear sky. A serene landscape featuring a narrow wooden bridge crossing a calm river, surrounded by lush greenery. Trees frame the scene, with dappled sunlight casting shadows on the pathway. A metal gate stands in the foreground, leading towards the bridge. A serene landscape featuring a calm lake reflecting the sky and surrounding greenery. The foreground has dry, rolling fields, and the background shows lush forests under a partly cloudy blue sky. A panoramic view of a vast grassy field under a partly cloudy sky. In the distance, there are rolling hills covered with patches of trees and greenery. A tree and a fence line are visible on the left side of the image. A sign with a map and information about Frogmore Meadows stands in the foreground, providing details about the meadowland. Behind the sign, a scenic view of the meadows under a bright blue sky dotted with white clouds is visible. Trees and greenery are in the distance.

Organiser's Description

Distance and Elevation: 14 miles with 1,000ft of elevation (Optional bonus ‘The Pednor Loop’ – 6miles with 350ft of elevation)

A beautiful guided run, which starts in the market town of Chesham, before opening out on to tracks across fields and country lanes as we make our way towards the Chess Valley. We will then drop down through the woods and follow the popular ‘Chess Valley Walk’ trail past Latimer House, with its stunning lake and views across the valley. As we will be running beside the River Chess, there is a risk of wet feet (or more!) if it has decided to burst its banks and flood the fields either side; the ground can also be wet and marshy during the Winter. We may also get to see the famous Red Kites

It's truly terrifying weather but that's my 1st trail on very enjoyable none the less. The organisers and pace setters couldn't do enough for us despite the horrific conditions for most of the run.
