Organiser's Description
We are excited to announce that the Hertfordshire & Middlesex Duathlon will be taking place at Merchant Taylors' School, a stunning venue sitting on the Hertfordshire and Middlesex border with magnificent, picturesque grounds including manicured sports fields, lakes, wildlife and greenery.
The Run is a flat 2.5km lap of the beautiful lake, returning to the playing fields at the end of each lap for a quick trip to the running track before heading back out to the lake.
Cycle a surprisingly rural route before enjoying a final run around the picturesque grounds of this stunning school.
This is a mass-start non-draft legal event with starts from 8:30am with three distances to choose from:
- SuperSprint - 2.5km run - 12km Bike - 2.5km Run
- Sprint - 5km run - 25km Bike - 2.5km Run
- Standard - 10km run - 42km Bike - 5km Run
This event is for athletes of all abilities and ages (min age 15 - on race day)
Transgender athletes are, and will continue to be, very welcome at recreational and competitive activity in Triathlon. At any competitive event from 1st January 2023, there will be a Female category open to athletes who are the female sex at birth and an Open category open to all other athletes.
