ATW Odyssey At Box End Triathlon

ATW Box End Triathlon – Sunday 5th July 2026

Featuring the Inter Services Triathlon Championships and the Odyssey Middle Distance tri.

Get ready for one of the UK’s most exciting triathlon events of the year! The ATW Box End Triathlon returns on Sunday 5th July 2026, featuring Sprint, Standard and the brand-new Odyssey distance.

This year’s event is even more special as it will also host the Inter Services Triathlon Championships – giving everyday athletes a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to line up alongside competitors from the Army, Royal Navy, Marines, RAF, Ambulance Service, Fire Service, Police and Prison Service.

While the Inter Services Championships are an exciting part of this year’s event, the race is open to absolutely everyone – from first-time triathletes to experienced competitors. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or just looking to enjoy the day, you’ll find the Box End Triathlon welcoming, supportive, and unforgettable.

All event will start from 7AM. We will let you know your allocated start time in the final event information. This will be emailed to you approx. ten days before the event.

Inclusive Categories – Transgender athletes are warmly welcomed. From January 2023: Female category (assigned female at birth) & Open category (all other athletes).

Timings & Cutoffs

There are no cutoffs for Sprint and Standard distances as they run alongside the longer Odyssey race. To give you an idea:

Sprint – winner ~1hr15 | last finisher ~3hrs

Standard – winner ~2hr20 | last finisher ~4hr45

ATW Transfer & Refund Policy

At ATW, we understand that sometimes plans change. While we do not offer refunds or transfers to another person, we provide a hassle-free event transfer option for those unable to attend their booked event. If you are unable to participate in your scheduled event for any reason—including injury, illness, pregnancy, bereavement, or other unforeseen circumstances—you can transfer your entry to any future ATW event. There is no proof required, we trust you!
Even better news, transfers can be made all the way up to 48 hours before your original event date.
