By Car: Exit the M55 at junction 4 and follow the signs for North Shore and Blackpool Zoo. Turn right of the A583 onto the A587 South Park Drive. At the roundabout turn left onto West Park Drive and the Sports Centre is located 1/2 mile up on the right hand side.

By Train: The nearest station is Blackpool North approx 2 miles away. There are four services an hour from Blackpool North to Preston. Preston station has direct services to all major cities including Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh and London Euston.

Parking is available at the Sports Centre and there is a large car park within Stanley Park. These are Pay and Display facilities so please ensure you have a valid ticket for the duration of your stay. Please park legally at all times. Council Parking Enforcement Officers operate throughout the day.

Individual race winners are awarded prizes in the following categories:

First 3 Male and Lady winners

First Male Veteran over 40/45/50/55/60/65/70+

First Lady Veteran over 35/40/45/50/55/60/65+

First Junior Boy and Girl (15-17)

All runners receive a bespoke commemorative medal at the finish line

Entry into the event is open to everyone of all abilities as long as you are aged over 15 on the day of the race.

Entry on the day, if available, will be charged £5 extra. Postal entries will not be accepted.

At race HQ you will find the registration desks where you collect your race numbers, an enquiry desk if you have any questions, toilets, and baggage storage.
