Course Details

The Bellahouston Park course follows a 5K loop through one of Glasgow’s most iconic parks, combining long sections of flat, fast tarmac paths with gentle rolling terrain and beautiful parkland scenery.

The 5K completes one loop of the course, the 10K covers two laps, and Half Marathon runners complete four laps plus a short out-and-back section to make up the full distance.

Designed to suit runners of all abilities, the route features wide paths, sweeping park views and long, uninterrupted sections that are perfect for finding your rhythm and chasing a personal best. The gentle undulations add variety without taking away from the course’s fast, runnable nature.

The route will be fully marked with kilometre markers, directional arrows and friendly marshals throughout, ensuring a safe, enjoyable and well-supported race-day experience from start to finish.

No complaints whatsoever, well organised. Good parking nearby, toilets available and clean. Lots of staff/volunteers, clearly marked route. Route felt ok traffic wise considering there was so many people out at the same time together.

First official run for me. Well organised. All the staff were really helpful and friendly and the course well laid out and clear. It ran on time and lots of positive encouragement from the Marshalls too. Bravo all!

Great Race would do again! Quite challenging having 4 laps with a big hill at the start but really enjoyable and was well organised great value for money! The legs have been galvanise yesterday . 😄👍
