This weekend is causing a stir in the East Midlands with a fast growing reputation as THE event to attend on the calendar for 2025.
After the success of 2024, we are pleased to announce the return of The Belvoir Castle Run Races 2025 (as part of the Belvoir Castle Multisport Weekend).
With the same format as the LAST YEAR, the only change we will be making for 2024 is to add a 5km. The aim is to keep striving to make this event TRULY inclusive and there really is an option for EVERYONE! 🎉
Feel the history of the land and take in the sights of this atmospheric iconic estate and the best of British Countryside. The route starts in the centre of the epic estate's grounds, surrounded by ancient trees and pretty landmarks.
The course then takes you up close to the magnificent castle, running alongside scenic tree lined roads, sweeping down towards a small section of hard pack trail and grass. Back toward the castle, before turning right at the crossroads, heading towards the hill of the old driveway you will make the turning point at the old estate entrance. Here you will witness some flat sections with breath-taking, panoramic views of the countryside and the stunning view of Belvoir Castle.
Finally, down the hill and returning to finish your run with the Castle creating a momentous backdrop for your free finishers photo download.

Gorgeous venue, lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately the organisation was quite weak, signposting on the race was poor (I ran 9.35km on the 10k and my partner ran 10.5km because he overshot and I accidentally cut some off). Some marshalls didn't really know where to direct you due to the multiple events. It was a shame because the route was nice, and it would have been a really great race with a little more planning.
