This stunning race explores the sun-dappled tracks and trails that weave through Alice Holt Forest. The race is well known for attracting fantastic local support and has become the charity's biggest fund-raising event, raising nearly £100,000 since its inaugural race. Hit the trail, enjoy the buzz of a super race day and help raise valuable funds to improve bowel cancer survival.
Route Information
The undulating route uses a captivating 5k forest trail. 10k runners complete two laps and 5k runners complete a single lap. Half Marathon runners complete four laps of an extended version of the 5k.

GUTS stands for Guildford Undetected Tumour Screening.
1 in 8 of us will suffer from bowel cancer during our lifetimes. In the UK, 120 pepople receive a bowel cancer diagnosis every day and annually, this awful disease claims around 17,000 lives. GUTS works to improve survival through early detection and treatment; they fund equipment, raise awareness, provide facilities to improve care and optimise screening & detection supported by key research.

Nice event in the woods. I have always liked Alice Holt Forest and knew I would enjoy the sights during this half marathon, this happened in the later stages as the first 2 5k laps I spent having to overtake the 10k and 5k runners which was a tad frustrating, after that though was a peaceful adventure in the woods. Well run event, volunteers were great.
