Course Details

This year's Great Eastern Run route has been improved following feedback from runners and key organising partners. This route gives spectators better views as well as runners a chance to improve on their previous personal best times and ensures that 100% of the route is based on roads / tarmac.

The route takes runners through a section of the city centre, one of the unique aspects of the course, along with passing through the grounds of Peterborough Cathedral, NEW for 2023, and the first time this has featured within the route of the Great Eastern Run ever.

Please note that we are operating a cutoff of 3 hours 30 minutes to ensure we can reopen all roads on time.

Total climb = 65 metres - average of 3 metres per KM
