Very enjoyable race. Extremely muddy but not much anyone could do about that. Exceptionally well-organised - the long line for race number pick-up moved like lightning, and it was great to have the church cafe to stay warm inside while waiting for the start. The race had lots of pink direction arrows and marshals. One minor gripe was the lack of distance markers, but no biggie. The only major gripe was running out of water cups at the water stations - I always run with my own water bottle but lots of people don’t, and I don’t know how they were supposed to collect water without cups. Given that everybody got a plastic bottle of water when finishing, that can’t be for environmental reasons. Other than that, highly recommended.

Well organised, easy to park at, great area pre-race for drinks. Course well signposted and also well marshalled. Lots of refeshment points with lots of options. Wonderful scenery. Only downside was a couple of highly competitive runners with dogs who on looping back just didn't care about other runners.
