The Clitheroe Triathlon, organized by findarace.com, is set to take place on Sunday, April 12th, 2020 in Clitheroe, Lancashire. This challenging event in the picturesque Ribble Valley kicks off with a 400m pool swim, followed by a 'lumpy' 30k bike ride that includes a tough climb up Birdy Brow and onto Longridge Fell. The 8k run is relatively flat compared to the bike course, making for a great finish. While popular with novices, this event offers a more challenging experience than some other sprint triathlons. Don't let that intimidate you though, as the Clitheroe Triathlon promises to be an EPIC day out! Participants will receive a finishers medal, T-shirt, swim cap, and free downloadable event photographs from the findarace.com Facebook page.

Organiser's Description
The Clitheroe Triathlon is a challenging course set in the Ribble Valley. It starts with a 400m pool swim, but the real fun starts on the bike as the 30k ride is ‘lumpy’ and includes the climb up Birdy Brow, onto Longridge Fell. The run is relatively flat compared the the bike ride, it’s 8k out and back on road and should be enough to make you feel happy about reaching the finish line. We get a lot of novices taking part in this event, but it is more challenging than some of our other sprint triathlon events. Don’t let that put you off, it’s an EPIC day out!
