JOIN US FOR THE DORNEY TRIATHLON ON SUNDAY 16TH JULY 2023
Take on a Sprint or Standard distance triathlon around Dorney Lake on Sunday 16th July 2023 and take the opportunity to race around this unique and inspiring Olympic venue!
The purpose built lake is perfect for the swim and the flat grounds lend themselves to a totally flat bike and run course, the ideal venue for a chip timed personal best. Each discipline will be accurately marked out with distance flags and we will have plenty of helpers to keep you on track and to encourage you all the way to the finish.
For those who don’t want to take part in the run, there is also an Aquabike (swim-bike) option, and for those who would like to compete as a team, there is a relay option, which allows 2 or 3 individuals to share the disciplines between them.

Really badly organised. Queues for registration were very long and disorganised even when we arrived early. No priority for the sprint tri starting first. We ended up missing the race briefing and not having time to set up our stuff. Even though the venue is brilliant, it just felt under staffed and badly organised, which ruined or first triathlon experience.
Really well organised event, despite the very early start! Impressive how so many different events are co-ordinated on the same day.
As a first timer, it was a bit daunting and the only thing that would have made it slightly easier, if there were pre-made holes in the number for your strings on the number belt!

Really well organised and huge amount of support to help complete the event. It's perfectly set and self contained. Looking forward to next year's event.
The race itself was a 5/5 event. The disappointment was the lack of lack of catering and refreshments. One van that just did teas / coffees / soft drinks. The catering room in the pavilion had nothing for vegetarians, hardly anything left, this was at 12 noon.
Just one small merch pop up with not much stock.
Other events we've attended at Dorney Lake have had so much more.
Race was good and well organised though
A perfect event. There was a very clear pre race information pack and any questions were promtly answered. Everybody I interacted with both on the day and before the event was absolutely lovely and I look forward to coming back. A nice flat course really opens up the opportunity for people to come along and try the sport that are otherwise intimidated. 10/10 recommended

Brilliant venue and very well organised on the day. My only faults were how long it took to get our raceday information pack and the lack of water stations or shade on the 10k run.

This was a great venue to do my first sprint triathlon. The event was very well organised and the layout of the swim, ride and run were simple to navigate. The course for riding and running are nice and flat so a great way to ease you into the sport.

Great day all round !
A great event at a fantastic venue! Lovely Marshalls and supporting crowds. The only thing I would say is there wasn't a race briefing at the beginning - I thought we had to swim 2 laps of 750m, but it turned out it was only 1 lap of 1500m. Only a minor thing, otherwise it was amazing!
