Run 1: Keep to the right as you take on the track, covering the full 4.3km loop of the track and ensuring you keep plenty in the legs for the uphill drag about 20 minutes in and the fast paced run into transition.
The bike: Hard out on the bike for the initial downhill efforts and go crazy round the back straights trying to maintain your pace. You will not find a smoother surface for miles around and a chance to test out your skills in both draft legal and non-drafting racing.
Run 2: Hopefully you will have left plenty in the legs for the last run around the track to make the duathlon.
