The 9 Locks Challenge is a 10k point to point event along the Stourbridge canal.

It starts at the Bonded Warehouse in Stourbridge.

In the mid section of the event encompasses the 9 locks climb, which provides the challenge of the event.

Finishes at the Brierley Hill, Hop House, Waterfront, near the Merry Hill shopping centre.

Free, hassel free parking (at the finish area) with free coach transfer (10 - 15 min) to the start.

Mixture of terrains, including gravel, mud, tarmac.

We are getting some coach transport.

Therefore we propose, you parking at the finish area (Waterfront, Merry Hill) and getting the coach to the start area and then running back to your vehicle (Finish area).

Parking is FREE at the Waterfront.

Toilets are available at the start.

What times does coach leave?
We have planned for the 1st coach to leave at 09:00, and the 2nd 09:15.

How Long is the journey?
20/30 minutes dependant on the route the coach takes and the traffic.

How many coaches are there?
We are looking at 2 coaches. (53 seaters)

Is there an additional charge for the coach?
No, it is part of your race fee.

What time does the event start?
10:00

Are there toilets?
Yes, there will be 4 at the start area.

Is Car parking free?
If you park in the larger car parking area on the Waterfront, there is free parking.
If you park near the Hop house, you will need to pay via an app/website www.good2go.com

What times does registration open?
8:30

Where is registration?
Registration will take place at the start line. Bonded Warehouse.

Where's my bib?
Due to uncertainly of royal mail strikes we have decided to make registration/ Collectin of the bibs on the day.

Is there a water station?
Yes at the 5km /halfway point
