Essar Chester Half Marathon

The Chester Half is one of the UK’s longest established and most highly regarded half marathons. This chip timed, fast and largely flat race starts from Chester Racecourse, in the City centre, and will be run entirely on closed roads. Heading northwest out of the City on wide roads, runners will rapidly settle into the race, with plenty of support and music along the way. In the second half of the race, runners return to Chester for an unforgettable finish outside the Town Hall and Cathedral.

We'll have bands, music and entertainment along the way to entertain the crowds and runners. All finishers will receive a technical T-shirt, bespoke medal and a top quality goody bag. And why should you have all the fun? Check out the Fun Run for your young supporters.
