After a successful return in 2024 GBR Run are pleased to be bring this popular multi distance Remembrance event to the Sussex Running Calendar.
Taking place on an out and back route through, along the seafront this course will likely produce some fast times. Weather permitting!
We will have prizes on offer for the leading runners and age categories in each race.
There will be a bespoke medal for all finishers.
There will also be the Youth Mile taking place on an out back course along the seafront. All events will be licenced and accurately measured.

This was my first 10k race and I was so pleased that I chose the Bexhill Remembrance Run. The 10k race started with a 1 minute silence to honour those who died in war. The route along the sea front is scenic and flat and if not listening to music it's great to hear the sea. The weather couldn't have been better so we were all very fortunate.
The event was very well organised and the two Marshalls who helped me when I fell were great. I did manage to complete the course.
I tried to find the route the course took before competing but it wasn't available, I think that this would have been helpful particularly for those of us competing for the first time. It was a very enjoyable day and I would highly recommend it to others.

This was our second time running in the Half Marathon. It’s a super event with distances to suit all. A nice flat course along the seafront of Bexhill. Starting and Finishing at the fabulous De La Warr pavilion which is a great backdrop for your finish line medal photo. Held on Remembrance weekend it’s lovely to see all the poppies being worn by runners and the town showing support for all our Armed Services. We will be back next year . Ps . If you fancy something to ease those aching muscles do what I did and enjoy à plunge in the sea.
