A symmetrical one-loop swim in the crystal clear water of Lake Zurich is followed by a spectacular bike course through the city centre and out of town along the Lake shore, past grazing lands, small villages, and over the rolling countryside. The two climbs - The Beast and Heartbreak Hill - are lined with spectators cheering and ringing cow bells. The newly designed multifaceted four-loop run course takes athletes through downtown Zurich, down the world-famous Bahnhofstrasse, through beautiful alleys, past historic buildings, and back along the Lake shores.
