Channel Events is excited to bring back the Mendip Murmuration event on Saturday, 15th June 2019 in Bristol, Somerset. This off-road cycling event is part of 'The Triple', a series of events in Somerset. Partnering with The National Trust and The Mendip Hills AONB service, riders will have the opportunity to explore the stunning landscapes of Somerset while cruising and carving through Cheddar Gorge, Crook Peak, Black Down, and Rowberrow Warren. Participants can choose from 20 mile and 30/35 mile routes that showcase the best of the Mendips, including limestone rock gardens, flowing single tracks, wide open hilltops, and forest trails. Don't miss out on this fantastic event that will leave you wanting more!
Organiser's Description
Following a successful two years, we are returning to Cheddar in 2019, further cemeting this event as one of our three Somerset-based off-road cycling events, now known as 'The Triple’. We have developed a fantastic working relationship with The National Trust and The Mendip Hills AONB service to make this great event part of the ‘Top of the Gorge’ festival.
This is a gathering of like minded individuals coming together with a common purpose: riding a bike through Somerset’s stunning landscapes. Cruising and carving over and around Cheddar Gorge, Crook Peak, Black Down and Rowberrow Warren will make for amazing 20 mile and 30/35 mile routes that will leave you wanting more. Limestone rock gardens, flowing single tracks, wide open hill tops with stunning views, and cracking forest trails show you the best the Mendips have to offer.
