The event is sponsored by Zoggs and Record Breaking Open Water Swimmer and owner of Ocean Walker Academy Adam Walker will be there for a high energy and fun environment.
Our lake has been designed for open water swimming, with gradual astroturfed entry/exit points and a max depth of 2m. Walking route around the whole lake so spectators have a fab view to support their swimmer! This is a great place to race for all abilities.

Course Details
Our 7 acre lake has been designed for open water swimming, with gradual astroturfed entry/exit points and a max depth of 2m. Walking route around the whole lake so spectators have a fab view to support their swimmer! This is a great place to race for all abilities. With toilets and changing cubicles plus areas to stash your kit during the swim.
What's Included
Race in the UK's first purpose built open water swimming lake.
Our 7 acre Crystal Lake has easy entry and exit points and spectators can support by walking around the whole lake!
Nestled on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds with a backdrop of ancient woodland.
Sponsored by Zoggs who will be providing wetsuit demos.

Tell me more about Adam Walker
Adam Walker is the first British person to swim the Oceans 7, the toughest 7 channel swims in the World! He is the 5th person in the World to complete this incredible feat. It is the ultimate endurance challenge, the Oceans equivalent to the "Seven Summits" and he is the 2nd person in history to complete all seven on first attempt!

What will I need to bring?
Your usual open water swim kit. You will be given a RACE COLOUR CODED Ocean Walker Swim Cap when you sign in at reception, this must be worn for the event.

Tell me more about each race and the rules
1.5k Breastroke Race = Strictly Breaststroke only 1.5k Freestyle Race = Front Crawl, but can break into Breaststroke if required 6k Freestyle Race = Front Crawl, but can break into or compete the race using Breaststroke or Butterfly if you wish. Prize Giving Categories remain the same so it is the swimmers own decision if they choose to opt for an alternative swim stroke where it is allowed.

Yes- great spectator viewing. Spectators are charge £3pp on the day.

Please note: We are not splitting the prize giving into categories of wetsuit or non-wetsuit wearers or any other form of category other than the race categories given above. So please keep in mind you are all competing against each other no matter your attire etc.

LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY
Our qualified open water lifeguards at the Ocean Walker Academy will be stationed around the lake and keeping watch over the event. Providing water safety and first aid support.
