A metallic medal shaped like a dragon's head with intricate scale details and a prominent purple, reptilian eye at the center. The medal is attached to a purple ribbon. A large green sign stands on a grassy field with the text "Hurtwood Park Polo Club" written in white letters. The background features a row of trees under a clear sky. A large group of runners participating in a race, wearing various colorful athletic outfits and bib numbers, are seen at the starting point on a path surrounded by trees. The atmosphere is energetic as they begin their run.

Organiser's Description

We're delighted to have been invited back to the wonderful Hurtwood Park Estate for another Dragon's Eye event. We'll have our epic aid station set up just behind the beautiful main building with great access to the polo club facilities and the route is a stunning loop around the estate.

This is a multi-distance event - from 5km to 10k, half to marathon to ultra, you can complete as many, or as few, laps of a looped course around the beautiful Hurtwood Park Estate within the overall 7 hour time limit. We welcome all abilities of runner - complete one loop and you're both a finisher and a winner in our eyes, or keep going and see how far you can get in the full 7 hour time limit and everyone gets the fabulous finishers' medal. The medal is one of our epic bespoke designs and you're not going to want to miss this one.

Not sure? Well the beauty of this format is that you don't even need to decide in advance - simply come and run a lap and see how you feel on the day and keep on going if it feels right.

Places will be strictly limited so don't leave it too late to enter.

Minimum distance is 2.62 miles or as far as you can go in 7 hours. Off road trail, mostly flat through the estate.
