Organiser's Description
Returning for 2026 is the Plymouth Swim, run on the same day as the Plymouth Triathlon. We'll be working closely with Plymouth Tri Club & the team at Mount Edgecumbe to deliver a fantastic event at an amazing venue that's just a short ferry ride from the centre of Plymouth.
The sea swim is sheltered with land on both sides.
Kit Requirements
Just a swim suit and goggles. Wet suits are not required. However if you are swimming skins (without a wetsuit), you must use a towfloat. For first time open water swimmers wetsuits are recommended. They will keep you warmer and provide buoyancy that will make swimming easier. Short wetsuits or armless wetsuits are also permitted.
