How to Get There

There is no designated car park for this event, however we would recommend using the Town Centre Pay Display Car Parks which are approximately 10-15 minutes walk to the park. Please therefore allow enough time to get parked up and walk down before your event start time.

A limited number of disabled parking spaces will be available in the Keresforth Hall Road Car Park, which would also be a recommended drop off area if required. As there are only limited spaces in this Car Park, please note this will be available for disabled parking only.

The nearest train station is Barnsley Interchange, and the nearest buses run to Kingstone along Park Road and Keresforth Hall Road.

Please check back for details on electric charging points and bike racks.

Further Information

Event Site: The start and finish areas are both on the same grass field, off Keresforth Hall Road opposite the tennis courts. The field is flat and the ground is solid unless we have experienced substantial rainfall, in which case it could be boggy in places. There is a path around the perimeter of the event site. Wheelchair users can choose to join and finish the race where the grass meets the path (approx. 20m)

The event site is easily accessible from the car park on Keresforth Road. There are 20 disabled parking spaces available.

Course: Please read the course information section regarding the terrain to decide whether you feel this is a suitable course for you. We would advise this route as 'accessible with assistance'

Carers are welcome free of charge.

If you require any further information on the accessibility of a Race for Life event or wish to bring a carer/assistant to accompany you or if you need to bring a guide runner, please contact our Suppor

Meeting Point Information

The route starts and finishes near the Keresforth Hall Road entrance which is located on a flat grass field opposite the tennis courts.
