How to Get There

There is no designated car park for this event as the park is accessible via a number of public transport routes and public car parks. The nearest train station is Chesterfield, which is about a 15 minute walk to the start line. There are numerous bus services that run from the surrounding areas into the town centre and onto Park Road and Boythorpe Road that surround Queen's Park. Car parking is available in a number of public pay and display car parks around the town centre which is just a short walk to Queen's Park. Please note the Queen's Park North Car Park will be closed for the duration of the event but the pay and display car parks on Queen's Park South and Boythorpe Avenue are both still operational as usual. There are a limited number of disabled car park spaces available for blue badge holders in Queen's Park North Car Park.

Further Information

We would recommend that this event is wheelchair accessible with assistance. The course and event site is mainly on grass with some paths. The route is flat throughout. Due to the time of year the event is taking place, the grass may become boggy in poor weather conditions. The venue is accessible from most entrances with disabled parking available at Queen's Park North car park. If you require any further information on the accessibility of a Race for Life event, or wish to bring a carer/helper to accompany you, please contact our Supporter Hotline on 0300 123 0770 and press 1 when prompted (Opening hours are 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday) or email us at [email protected]
