Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

How to Get There

Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.

There are a number of buses that service Bught Park and Inverness train station is a 20 minute walk from the start line. Visit travelinescotland.com for help with planning your journey.

There is no event parking but there are a number of car parks in the city centre, only a short walk from the start line.

Please note, the Infirmary Bridge across the River Ness will be closed for safety reasons during the event. Please use Ness Bridge as an alternative.

Further Information

This course is accessible to wheelchair users in dry weather, but due to a sizeable section of the course being on grass and woodland paths, assistance is recommended.

In wet weather a large section of the course will become inaccessible to wheelchair users which significantly reduce the distance. The grass start and finish area will also be difficult to access.

Blue badge parking is available next to the start area.

If you require any further information on the accessibility of a Race for Life event, or wish to bring a carer/helper to accompany you, please contact our Supporter Hotline on 0300 123 0770 and press 1 when prompted (Opening hours are 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday) or email us at [email protected]
