Race for Life Southend-on-Sea 5k

By car General Event Parking: Parking is FOC and located in Redgra Playing Fields, Eastern Avenue, SS2 4FA which is a short walk to Garon Park showground. Please note that parking is limited so we ask that participants utilise local transport links where possible. Drop Offs: Participants can be dropped off in the Leisure Centre Car Park. Blue Badge Parking: Blue badge parking is available in the Leisure Centre Car Park, SS2 4FA which is a short walk to Garon Park showground. Please note that this is separate from the designated participant/spectator parking area. Volunteer Parking: This is in the Leisure Centre Car Park. Electric Charging points: There are none available at this event. The closest charging point is Shell on Eastern avenue which is 1 mile away. Public transport and pedestrians: Pedestrians: Access the main event site via the internal road, just after Garon Park/Leisure centre car park. Take the path to the right hand side, go past the 3G football pitches and straight ahead towards the showground which will be on your right hand side. Bus: First Bus provide a number of services which drop off on Eastern Avenue which is a 5 minute walk to the main event site. Train: Nearest train station is Southend Central which is 3 miles to the main event site. Cycling & Bike Racks: There are 16 bike racks available near the Garon Park entrance. Bike locks can be hired from the Pitch side Café.

Bring along as many supporters as you like to cheer you on! We’ve got things for everyone to do. After you've completed the course, stay on and celebrate with other participants, friends and family with a picnic in the park.
