Run Nation is pleased to present our warm winter hot chocolate race at Derwent Country Park in 2026.
10k trail race on a mix of surfaces but ideal for all abilities - just finish before the sun goes down!
Set in the picturesque Derwenthaugh Country Park, Gateshead; The 10k run is on paved footpaths and tracks in the park and is mostly flat, making it suitable for all abilities.
The 10k takes in 2 loops of the park, starting and finishing near the Swalwell visitor centre with parking available.
The 5k takes in 1 loop of the park, starting and finishing near the Swalwell visitor centre with parking available.
The junior 3k takes in one 3km out and back of the park, starting and finishing near the Swalwell visitor centre with parking available.
Due to UKA Rules and insurance, we cannot permit runners to wear in ear headphones, run with prams or dogs.
