As my 1st 10K run I really enjoyed the experience . It's definitely not the easiest course to do there are a lot of hills and in some parts muddy terrain so it's not flat so probably not the ideal for a 1st 10k but I wanted to challenge myself which was the point. Some more guidance would be appreciated before the race starts as I arrived in Heaton park not really knowing where I had to go instead I had to follow other racers to find out where I was supposed to go to store my bags and to check in so more signs or clear visible volunteers would of made the experience better in my opinion additionally having an option to receive or buy a t shirt saying you completed the couse alongside the medal would be something that would also been great to have. During the race there were no issues on where I had it was very clear signs and often there were plenty of staff and people cheering the racers which made the experience memorable.
