Nice course, but it got dark really quickly and in places it was almost pitch black, so better lighting required. Finish was a bit of an anti climax - scrabbled around form my medal and had to seek out the "goodies", which consisted of a bit of squashed flapjack, some donated corn and a protein ball (which I couldn't eat as vegan). Shame, as the stewards and warm up were fantastic.

I had hoped this would be a flat, fast race, but it wasn't. Four laps is fine, but that meant eight double-backs, eight sharp corners and eight bridges, so there are constant changes in speed. I would estimate that it was around 45 seconds slower than, say, Battersea. My own post-race experience was odd. I finished the 10k in 39:04 but when the race results came up my time was strangely changed to 29-minutes and I was listed in the 5k event. I informed the organisers of their error and, to their credit, they had changed it by late that night. But how this happened, I have no idea. I did note when I was finishing that they tried to usher me down the 5k lane even though I had a green 10k number. I presume that looking at me (I am 62) they decided I was too old to be finishing the 10k in that time and that I must have been a 5k runner.

Well organized. All was good, volonteers, cheering, timing... i was a bit sceptic for the bagd, scared they are not safe enough, but in the end it was all good. Well done! Hope to see you again!

really well organised. good course - flat, around the olympic stadium. Was maybe a tad short but that really isn't the end of the world. Nice medal, good snacks at the end. Really friendly atmosphere

Very cheerful atmosphere. It was well organized. The atmosphere was amazing. There were lots of people came with work colleagues as well. The volunteers were fantastic. They cheered us on along the race course. It was much needed when the legs are tired! The only thing I would suggest to improve I s that the PA system did not reach the crowd in the beginning. So we could not make out what was the announcement. Other than that, it was brilliant!

Great fun. Great fun - organisation was good and everything went smoothly, wasn't expecting the guys around the track cheering everyone on who did an awesome job.

I loved it.. I loved it. I thought it was really well organised and I couldn't fault the set up on the day, everything ran really smoothly and there were loads of people around to ask for help if needed. The staff and marshals were all super friendly and supportive during the race and there were plenty of them out on the course. My only criticism is that I didn't like a four-lap course. I don't think this would have stopped me doing the race though.
