Rye Summer Classic Series 10k - July

Rye, East Sussex

Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, Rye, East Sussex, TN31 7TU

Fri 9th July 2021

Organiser's Description

Join us by the sea in Rye Harbour Nature Reserve for a speedy 10k with beautiful sunset sea views! The Rye Summer Classic Series is a popular series of three Friday evening events, and in 2021 returns for the 16th year. Featuring two 10k races and a season-ending final 5k.

This fast and flat 10k, the first in the series, takes place within one of Britain’s most important conservation sites. The race is a chance to see the rare coastal landscape, covering a mosaic of interlocking shingle ridges, saltmarsh, intertidal grazing, reed-beds and saline lagoons.

The race is perfect for runners of all abilities, from those looking to complete their first 10k distance to seasoned 10k runners looking for a new PB. The event is family friendly and in addition to the main 10k, there is a short Children’s Race.

You can enter a single race or save money by purchasing a three-race series entry.
