With race distances catering to all levels of runners, you can choose from the Half Marathon starting at 9:30 am, the 10k at 10:00 am, or the 5k at 10:05 am. There’s even a Junior Race at 12:00 pm for the younger participants! Each race is marked with accurate distance flags, and our enthusiastic marshals will be there to cheer you on every step of the way. Join us for a day filled with camaraderie, fresh air, and the chance to chase your personal best. Plus, enjoy a vibrant event village with delicious food and drink options, and don’t forget to grab your free goodies from our partners at the finish line! In Support of One Community Eastleigh Start and finish in the picturesque surroundings of Southampton Common, following a scenic route through woodland, grassland, ponds, wetlands, lakes and open parkland in the heart of the city. The late spring setting, fast course and supportive race-day atmosphere make this a brilliant opportunity to chase a personal best or enjoy a memorable run. Southampton Common is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest and provides a unique backdrop for running, walking and wildlife watching.

Each kilometre is accurately marked with distance flags and our friendly marshals will guide and cheer you all the way to the finish. We cannot wait to welcome you to the Southampton Running Festival! Course Details
The Half Marathon consists of 6 laps with a U-turn at the start, the 10k has 3 laps and the 5k has 2 smaller laps.
The various routes will include gentle undulating tarmac paths before finishing under the arch on the gravel stretch adjacent to the event village.

Really well organised, 3 races overlapping with the 10k starting half a hour after the half marathon,but it never felt congested at all, even with being on the shared space of the common paths. There were riders making it clear when the lead of the next race was coming through and to keep left.
Drinks and gels avaliable at the end of every lap was a good addition.
Nice medal and well run event, would definitely do again!
Well run event which is much more cosy than other bigger races.
Course is all on paths so no problems with footing here but you need to have good etiquette and keep to the left as there is a number of different races using the same path.
10km and 5km just stays in the park which is a nice forest feel even though you are in the middle of Southampton.
Track wise mostly flat with a 60m incline and 60m decline not completely flat.
Medal wise it is nice.
Overall a good fun race for anyone.
Very well organised event. Lots of marshalls and people available to answer questions. Very good direction markers. Lots of snacks and water provided throughout even when the field thinned and there were only a few of us on the route. Lovely medal and the team were still hyping finishers with only a few runners to go. Very inclusive. All paths so no issues with mud. Lots of bins for rubbish. A few food and coffee businesses were also set up and as we lapped round, there was loads to keep spectators busy and warm while we ran. Really impressed with this race, I'll definitely look at their other races.

This was a great event and I was on track for a very good race till I did something to my hamstring. Nice mix of flat and a gentle climb up a hill. Marshals were amazing and checked on me as I did my last 3 laps with a limp. Will do it again next year.
