Summer Solstice Challenge

Circuit running welcomes you to the Summer Solstice Challenge it's a 6 hour challenge timed event where you can run a 5k all the way up to ultra marathon within the time limit.

The event will start at 8:30am and registration will open at 7:30am.

The course is 4.37 miles a lap but there'll be a 5k turn point and a 10k will be 2 laps of the 5k lap, a half marathon will be 3 laps of the 4.37 miles course, 6 laps for a marathon, 7 or more for an ultra marathon.

There'll be a table at the end of each lap with water, squash, fizzy drinks and a variety of different food.

You can start your last lap up until 5:59:59 hrs.

Course is along an old railway line on a tarmac path, the course is out and back with no navigation required.

Toilets will be at a local leisure facility.

Parking: there is limited car parking on (poorhouse Lane) there are parking restrictions in parts down, there's also parking on Preston Road again park responsible. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE SOCCER SENSATIONS CARPARK THAT IS FOR THERE CUSTOMERS ONLY. Or any other local business car parks.

After finishing you'll get a bespoke medal and a goody bag.

Maximum distances permitted under rules are as follows:

Age 12-13 years. 5,000m

Age 14-15 years. 6,000m

Age 16 10,000m

Age 17 25,000m

Age 18-19 45,000m

Age 20 and over. No maximum distance
