Organiser's Description

An epic 21.1km Swimrun adventure race through the beautiful and rugged scenery of the Lake District National Park.

Starting on the shore of Windermere you'll be racing to Tweedies Bar in Grasmere village. To get there you will be trail running and taking on open water swims through Windermere, Rydal Water and Grasmere.

You'll run in your wetsuit and swim in your trainers.

Course Details

The course follows forestry tracks, trails and paths along valleys and over passes in the midst of some stunning and varied Lakeland scenery and of course there are swims in 3 different lakes.

Our Sprint course is 21.1 km in total with 18km of running and 3km of swimming across 5 separate swims - the longest of which is 920m.

What's Included

We'll provide you with briefings, transport from the meeting point to the race start, nutrition, hydration, marshals, water safety cover, medical cover and bio security measures.

How to Get There

Either by car or train and then bus services.

Parking

Parking is available in Grasmere village and race participants will be early enough that parking should be easily available.

Location

Transport will be provided from Grasmere to the Start at Braithwaite Hall.
