Sat 9th May 2026

A group of runners is participating in a race on a paved path next to a body of water. One runner is pushing a child in a stroller. Trees and park facilities are visible in the background, and the weather appears clear and pleasant. A group of runners begin a race, passing under an inflatable arch with "The Fix Events" written on it. One runner is pushing a person in a wheelchair. Spectators stand by at the sides, some taking photos. The background shows a building with signage for a rowing center. A woman wearing a red and white "Czech Republic" shirt and a pink cap smiles brightly. She is standing outside with several people, red tents, and a building in the background. A runner wearing a red headband, black shirt with "Legends are made" text, black shorts, and black knee-high socks is running on a lakeside path. In the background, green trees and a body of water are visible under a cloudy sky.

My friends and I did run the half marathon. The staff and the organisation was great. But I found the lack of toilets was a problem. For so many participants, bearing in mind there was a 5km, 10km, half marathon and Triathlon, there weren't enough toilets. Only 2 for ladies were open in the clubhouse. Which is crazy for such an event.

The venue and course were fantastic and the staff were really good and friendly. The only downsides were that they only had 2 toilets open for the runners to use before the race despite there being numerous portaloos which were positioned so you couldn’t get in the door. Also there were 2 water stations on the course which was fine however you had to help yourself which when trying to push a time for a PB was far from ideal!

Very well organised. Lots of information sent in a timely fashion. Course was flat so just want I wanted for my first half-marathon. Staff were useful and very friendly.

The race and the course were great and the support staff really good. However, the reason for only 3 stars, they only had 2 toilets open for the runners to use before the race despite there being numerous portaloos which were positioned so you couldn’t get in the door. This made some people late to start. There was also only 1 water station which, for a very hot day, was not enough.
