Course Details

The Canterbury Half Marathon course is a lollipop shape route covering the roads on the outskirts of the City. The course has been officially measured and carries a certificate of course accuracy. The route will be clearly marked using large route arrows and directional cones, as well as being marshalled throughout. Due to sections of the route being open to traffic headphones are not permitted to be worn during the race and if you are seen wearing headphones you risk disqualifaction.

First Aid

St John Ambulance will be in attendance on the day and the course will be marshalled to provide assistance. There will also be a sweep marshal following the race to ensure that nobody is left behind and that all runners are accounted for.

Varied course, parking was limited. Hot, hilly, hard work! Enjoyable route local residents were put with water and hosepipes to help runners, great fun!
