Participants will embark on a thrilling 49-mile race, beginning at the Travelodge Oxford Abingdon Road. Runners will experience the stunning beauty of the Thames Path, passing iconic landmarks such as Sandford Weir, Culham, and Cholsey, before enjoying the scenic views of Moulsford, Streatley, and Whitchurch-on-Thames. The course also features a delightful detour through Purley Park, leading to the vibrant town of Reading and culminating in the picturesque finish line at Henley-on-Thames.
All finishers will be rewarded with a bespoke medal, while the first male and female finishers will take home a unique Oxford Ultra Trophy to commemorate their achievement. Distance: 49 miles
The race starts from the Travelodge Oxford Abingdon Road.
From the Travelodge you rejoin the Thames Path after just half a mile, leading to the spectacular Sandford Weir and then Culham and Cholsey.
A departure from the river bank brings us through Moulsford, but soon returns, going past Streatley and Whitchurch-on-Thames. A short deviation through the town of Purley Park, past Tilehurst, Reading, finally arriving at Henley-on-Thames which is the finish.
Finishers:
First male and female finishers will receive a bespoke Oxford Ultra Trophy.
All finishers will receive a bespoke medal.
