Get your Christmas off to a flying start and join us for this brand new festiev 10k race using the relatively flat forest paths and trails in and around Salcey Forest.
The event is open to runners of all abilities, from novices to experienced athletes and is perfect for spring marathon training.
And if 10k doesn't quite suit, why not try the 5k option?
There will be bespoke medals and festive finish line goodies on offer to all finishers.
There are prizes on offer to leading men and ladies plus a variety of age category prizes and team prizes for both male and female (3 to score).

Course Details
The route follows a two lap 5k route around the relatively flat tracks and trails of Salcey Forest. 10k runners complete two laps and 5k runners one lap.

More of a mud fest than a 10K. I know this was a Christmas event so therefore the condition of the track was going to be muddy. I will run here again if an event is held in the spring / summer / autumn, when there is far less chance of running through mud, mud, mud!! The paths are narrow so overtaking is restricted.
