Great atmosphere – fun, friendly and relaxed. Good to be able to change your race distance as you see fit. I especially liked the way the medal said ‘first half marathon’ on it, rather than just ‘half marathon’. That’s a nice touch, and it makes it feel even more special. The marshals were encouraging – it was a shame they left when they did! But it’s great to look through all the photos they took, and the other runners were liberal with encouragement, too. Thank you to all involved in putting on this event; you did a good job :)
