Beautiful route and plenty of volunteers, staff and services. Bag drop and shuttle services all seemed super efficient and hassle free. Lovely scenery and good vibes all round. Mix of trail, road and the avon cycleway (tarmac). Couple of narrow and muddy/slippy sections at points, great finish into bath but tough on the legs on the final descent! Really nice to finish in Bath city. Only downsides, could have had more toilet facilities at the start and maybe an electrolyte option at feed stations. Thanks to all the wonderful volunteers.

This race was so much fun!! Such a wide variety of terrain, and we saw horses, sheep, and cows. You even get to run through a sheep field, so you're up close with them. The thing that I think needs to be considered is that from mile 19 on, there are quite a few hills, some VERY steep (walking only, running near impossible). It evened out and then would go down and then up again, so if you choose this race, be comfortable with climbs. I say it's completely worth it. Go for it!
