Route and elevation
We will have marshals all around the course as well as km signs and arrows.
The course is on the roads/paths in the park:
Half Marathon – 6.5 laps
10k – 3 laps
5k – 1.5 laps
There WILL be pedestrians, please be aware of pedestrians, cyclists and dogs. We have marshals around the course and signs but this is not a road race, you have to pay very close attention to where you are going. We recommend you do not use earphones and you need to pay close attention to everything around you.
Spectators
In terms of spectating, this park could literally not be any better, the fields are open and every area of the park is accessible to see people running round

Really fun morning. Great atmosphere. Very friendly and not intimidating at all. Very easy to collect race number on the day. I know Victoria park well and it can be tricky running here even solo as it gets so busy. But Marshals handled it well. Already signed up for next month!
Lovely event (I did the 10k). Well organised and friendly. Decent route for a pb. Three laps so if you don’t like laps it might not be for you - but they are scenic laps of this very nice park. Mile/km markers are not that helpful given that three different distances were being run and laps are also involved, so best to keep count of your own laps and/ or keep an eye on your watch.

I did the Half marathon Was only made aware of 11.49 cut off time for Half I Asked to start at 8.30 This was not on the booking info page I am 62 and slower It was a great day and a great atmosphere Very friendly
A well organised race on a great route and it started on time, cannot fault organisers at all so thank you! The one downside was that two runners near me at one point almost came to blows as one spat near the other one. They then proceeded to trade insults and be aggressive to one another before one ran off. Just unnecessary as the running community is usually friendly and positive overall...(no fault of the organisers).

Brilliantly organised event with enthusiastic staff and a great atmosphere.
My first official half marathon which was extremely though in the heat but this event was so well organised. The event team scattered around the route offering support and encouragement. Water station well stocked and also included gels. Will definitely do this again but don’t in the summer.
I am currently doing one of these events every month. The Victoria Park half was extremely well organised with plenty of helpful volunteers. Unlike some venues there was plenty of portable toilet facilities and the PA provided clear instructions on the day. Some may feel the 7 Lap course was a little repetitive but I felt it provided you with encouraging goals and marker points around the the easy to follow route !
Was very good. Very clear instructions, race number sent out in advance. Very well organised, great MC, very clear instructions, great volunteers. Always have a good run with them.
Minus 1/2 point as the finishing line photographer was standing in the wrong place I think to get a good photo.

what a race. perfect organization and facilities . toilets.. cofffee..love it
Such a well organised and fun run. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because they ran out of the 10k medals so I got a random generic event medal that wasn't as nice. Can't lie I was gutted 😭 They obviously know how many people are taking part ahead of time so should have enough medals.
Did the half at Victoria park despite heavy rain a great race to get ready for the London Marathon in April, well organised plenty of snacks and drinks, had to keep count of times around park but got there with help from Shokz 😃 plenty of toilets (got there early so was clean, overall a great race for all abilities, got a PB as it’s quite flat would definitely recommend.
Lovely flat run, opportunity for a good warm up. Everyone was very friendly and supportive which made it a great venue for my first half marathon. Had music around the course and people dancing/ hyping you up to keep pushing. Only downside is the fact it’s 6.75 laps which can get repetitive but there’s plenty to look at as you’re going around so you don’t get too bored!

Really brilliantly organised event. Super easy to understand for first timers (me), good aid stations, loads of great volunteers and an encouraging atmosphere - especially over the line. Huge range of runners so there's always people around you. Highly recommend.

Great race - PB potential given it is super flat, organisation clear and superb marshals. Despite having 3 different races in progress at once, everything ran really smoothly. Extra kudos for the marshal between the water station and the sharp bend - he made us laugh on each pass…
Multi lappers aren’t usually for me, but would recommend and definitely consider doing again in the future.
Also recommend the cafe at Victoria Park for great pre and post run refreshments.

Was my first run ever, trained for 6 weeks roughly 3-4 times a week, not an athlete I must say, but the event was extremely well organized, so many runners! I finished the 10km run in 1h 23mins everything from the race pack collection/bag drop/hydration station/marshalls were fantastic would recommend and ill definitely be coming back again soon.
