Wye Valley Brewery Sportive

Sun 31st August 2025

A group of people sitting and standing outside Wye Valley Brewery. Some are cyclists in gear, with bikes nearby. Others are seated at tables enjoying drinks. The building is white with black accents and has a sign with the brewery's logo. The sky is cloudy. Three cyclists wearing helmets and colorful cycling gear ride together on a quiet road surrounded by lush greenery. The road curves slightly to the left, and the cyclists appear focused on their ride. A signpost is partially visible on the right side of the image. A group of cyclists wearing various colorful gear gather outside a rustic brick building with a wooden porch roof. Bicycles are parked nearby, and some cyclists are chatting or adjusting their gear. A sign in the background indicates a direction to Putley Church. A cyclist rides along a curving rural road bordered by lush green hedges and fields. A few red brick houses and large trees are visible on the left side of the road, with rolling hills in the distant background under a cloudy sky. Two cyclists in white helmets and matching jerseys ride on a narrow country road surrounded by greenery and trees. They gesture with thumbs up and are smiling. Hills and a clear sky are in the background, creating a scenic route.

Really well organised sportif! Loved riding on country lanes, taking in the beautiful country side. Some though climbs on route and grateful for the feed stations which had all one needed! Thank you to all!

The roads on the first half of route were atrocious however the second half was great ! Lovely staff from Let's Go Velo although the 2nd feed station run out of electrolyte which was dissapointing. The food was sold out and wrapped up early at the brewery and I got the impression they weren't really arsed about the event.
Hi Peter, We create routes that concentrate on country lanes with low traffic and this can lead to some of the roads being a bit more worn than your typical B roads. We always try to have full stocked food station but can not always guarantee that everything will be available as some cyclists take more than others. Again this is the same for catering at each oil our events. I feel this review is a little harsh as we put so much effort into each event as this review does not reflect that.
