Brought to you by Flamme Rouge Events, this epic end-of-season sportive takes on the same legendary route as the Hell of the Ashdown, offering a final test of fitness, grit, and glory before the winter months roll in.
Start/Finish HQ: The Velo Barn, Westerham
Distance: 100km of pure riding pleasure and pain
Why Ride the Angel?
As the leaves begin to turn and the summer season fades, this is your chance to go out with a bang. The Angel is a ride for real cyclists: challenging, rewarding, and utterly unforgettable.
Tackle some of Kent and Surrey’s most iconic climbs and hidden lanes on a route that weaves through stunning countryside and tests every sinew of your legs. Are you ready to take on Kidds Hill, better known as The Wall? What about Toys Hill, Col de Groombridge, Cowden, or Bayley’s Hill? This is a ride that demands your best—and gives back even more.

Once you've tamed the Angel, roll back into the welcoming arms of the Velo Barn, where we’ll be firing up the BBQ and pouring cold beers just for you.
