Join us for the exciting Autumn Challenge Day 2 on Sunday, 11th October 2026, hosted by Running Events Devon in the beautiful coastal town of Exmouth, Devon. This inclusive event welcomes runners and walkers of all abilities, offering a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors on a scenic 5.3k out-and-back course along an old disused train line. With a generous 7-hour time limit to complete your laps, participants can aim for as many laps as they like—whether it's one lap for a fun challenge, four laps for a half marathon, eight laps for a full marathon, or even nine laps or more for an ultra-distance adventure!
Every finisher will receive a medal, celebrating your achievement no matter how far you go. Spaces are strictly limited, so don’t wait to secure your spot in this uplifting event. If we reach capacity, late entries will still receive a bespoke medal of their choice. Be part of this vibrant running community and discover just how far you can go! Running Events Devon would like to invite you to come and run with us.
This event is being held on the 11th October 2026.
Absolutely all abilities of runners / walkers can take part in our events as you have 7 hours to get to the finish of your final lap, each lap is 5.3k out and back, of our scenic route on an old disused train line.
It is an accurately measured course so therefore it is classified as Road, it is run entirely on tarmac.
Everyone is welcome whether you are planning to walk or run, whether you finish 1 lap, 4 laps or even 14 laps in the permitted time, we would class you as finisher and a winner, and you can collect your Medal for the event. 1 lap is 5.3k so 4 laps will give you a half marathon, 8 laps will give you full marathon distance, 9 or more laps for an Ultra.
Please come and have a try and see how far you can go.
Places are strictly limited so please do not leave it too late to enter, if and when we reach capacity anyone entering after, will get a bespoke medal of their choice of the ones that we have with us on that day.
