Organiser's Description

Join us for another great event on the South East Canicross Calendar.

This is a Nice Work race
This means that this is an original Nice Work race, fully hosted and organised by us.

Event Overview:
After selling out every year since it's inception in 2017, this picturesque 10k & 5k takes place along the undulating forest paths and trails in and around Bedgebury Forest. The event is open to Canicross runners of all abilities, from novices to experience athletes.

Course Details:
The course is two laps for the 10k and a single loop for 5k of an undulating route around the trails and paths within Bedgebury Forest. Starting and finishing within the Pinetum the route should be quiet with no vehicle traffic, although there will be other forest users and bicycles crossing the routes, so runners should be alert to other users.

All dogs must be kept on their leads and under control at all times and you must clear up after your dog. If your dog is found to be off lead you will risk disqualification. Runners will be set off in waves of 10 in 1 minute time slots.

Available Races/Distances:
10K / 5K

Prizes:
Bespoke medal for all finishers.
Dog treats for all four legged finishers.
Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd male and female winners (10K & 5K distances).

On-the-day Entry Fees (subject to availability only):
10K: £25.00
5K: £25.00

Event information will be sent to all registered entrants prior to race-day.
