Event summary
Join us for the 4th Annual Red Warrior Multi Terrain Races on Sunday, March 10, 2024, in the stunning Burry Port, Carmarthenshire. Organised by Animal Performance Ltd®, this exciting event features 5K, 10K, and 20K races set against the breathtaking backdrop of Pembrey Country Park and its surrounding woodlands. Participants will enjoy well-marshalled courses that are free from public highways, allowing for a safe and enjoyable running experience.
While the races are not classified as mud races, be prepared for some soft ground and occasional muddy patches depending on the weather. It's advisable for runners to wear appropriate clothing and footwear to ensure a safe and comfortable run. Each entrant will have the opportunity to order a race T-shirt, and all finishers—including our furry friends in the Canicross event—will receive a high-quality medal. Trophies will be awarded to the fastest male and female finishers in each race, with their names inscribed on the coveted Warrior’s Sword trophy. The fun starts at 09:30 with separate Canicross races for those wishing to run with their dogs. Enjoy delicious hot and cold food options, and take advantage of the ample parking

Organiser's Description
The races are within the beautiful scenery/greenery of Pembrey Country Park and the surrounding woodland, no public highways are used. The courses will be well marshalled.
Whilst these are not mud races we are dependent on the weather so be prepared for some soft ground, standing water and muddy patches. It is strongly recommended that runners wear appropriate clothing for the time of year, especially footwear, to avoid injuries.
All entrants can order a race T shirt and there will be a top quality medal awarded to all finishers (including dogs) and also trophies will be awarded to the fastest male and female finishers in each race.
The winners names will also be entered onto the main trophy which will be the Warrior’s Sword, there will be photo opportunities and a race video.
