What's NEW to this year's Easter race event?
You asked and we listened! We are proud to unveil two brand new distance additions to our Easter race offering at Chasewater Country Park. Join us for a 20km distance or 15km distance as part of your training programme or just because is one of the best races on the calendar in 2025!

Race Overview:
The first thing you need to know about the Chasewater Easter Egg races is that we fully support racing fun! Some of our runners choose to dress up as their favourite Easter character and whilst it's by no means mandatory, it does create a wonderful atmosphere for this Spring race! Runners can take part in the either a 20k race, a 15k race, a 10k race or 5k race but each one of them is a racing gem you'll want to return to year after year. 

Junior run
We love supporting our junior runners to the start line, providing them with a dedicated event so that they can experience the delights of race day for themselves. We hope that this will give them a wonderful introduction to the sport and help foster a life long passion. Our kids race is approximately 0.6km and is a great way to get the whole family involved this holiday weekend. Our junior run will not be chip timed but we look forward to cheering each and every one of them across the finish line. 

Parents are responsible for collecting their children at the finish line. If parents are accompanying their children on this race then no additional entry is required. However, participating parents will not receive a chip time or medal. We hope that you will join us in supporting our young runners with uproarious cheers!

Course Details:
This race uses the undulating paths and trails around Chasewater Reservoir. The race will start just outside the Innovation Centre and after a short loop around the centre, runners will head clockwise around the reservoir and cover four laps for the 20k race, three laps for th 15k race, two laps for 10k race and one lap for the 5k race. Due to the multi terrain nature of the event, we are unable to get a certificate of course accuracy, but the route is as close to 20k/15k10k/5k that GPS technology will allow.

A note on headphones:
Due to new UKA rules that came into force on 01 April 2024, in the ear and over the ear headphones are no longer permitted at running events unless otherwise stated. Bone conducting headphones are permitted however, if you do choose to wear bone conducting headphones, then we ask that you have the volume turned down low enough to hear the marshal instructions.
