Organiser's Description

The Assault on Baggy Point is the fourth and last event in the ‘Dark Skies Series’ of night trail running events, the second of the mini series in North Devon. This series spans from Brean Down in Somerset to Baggy Point in North Devon.

Comprising of 5km and 10km route options, Assault on Baggy Point utilises the beautiful Baggy Point landscape near Croyde to deliver a 5km course across the fields and along the South West Coast Path, a truly wild location on a winter’s night but stunning none the less! 2 laps are completed for the 10km.

This course is undulating but on good trails and tracks. Making your way around the course you’ll travel along the inland trails across the fields before navigating the South West Coast Path around the peninsula that is Baggy point. The route starts and finishes at the National Trust’s Sandleigh Cafe.

Registration will open at 18:15, 10km starts at 19:25 and the 5km starts at 19:35.
