A full and half iron triathlon that runs alongside the DecaUK ultra endurance events like the 10 Iron in 10 day etc.

With flat(ish), fast routes and a friendly-feel, this event is a perfect first time half or full iron triathlon.

It's also ideal for seasoned athletes looking to get a PB over a middle distance or long-course race.

Course Details

The swim
A 50m pool will be used for both the continuous events and the one-a-day events.

The bike
Quiet, undulating country roads. 7.5 miles / 12km loop

The run
1.1 mile / 1.7km loop.
Well kept, grass paths with views of the Tor.

FAQs

  • Can I wear a wetsuit in the pool?

    Yes, you can wear a wetsuit, buoyancy shorts, or just a swimsuit. You can alternate during the swim.

  • Do I need to wear a hi-viz?

    Everyone needs to wear a hi-viz vest on the bike - no exceptions. They can be lightweight design, but not just stickers on a top.

  • Are support runners allowed?

    Your crew can run some laps with you, but you cannot have support for the whole run section.

  • Can I wear headphones?

    You can wear headphones in the swim and the run. You must not wear headphones on the bike.
