Organiser's Description
The Durham City 5K and 10K races return, as well as Paula’s Families on Track, the Run Like A Legend timed mile, XO Durham and our popular themed runs and tech talks. A full programme of exciting activities and events aimed at all ages and abilities will be released in the coming months. There will be something for everyone, even if you’ve never run before!

Course Details
Two races and one unforgettable finish! The World Heritage Site provides the stunning backdrop to this exciting event that chases through the narrow cobbled streets and along the beautiful River Wear with the imposing 900 year old Cathedral always beckoning. There can hardly be a more spectacular setting for a Summer Night of racing and fun.

The service will be free for runners on showing your race number, there will be a charge of £2 for spectators. Under 16s are free if accompanied by an adult over 21.
There is also parking available at Price Bishops Shopping Centre (normal charges apply), and County Hall.

Can my dog run alongside me?
For health and safety reasons we cannot allow any pets to participate in any of the events.

Will you send me information in advance?
Once you have entered we will send you by post your race number, timing chip & race information pack. Race information packs will also be available for download on the website prior to the event.

I’m injured and can’t run what should I do?
Oh no and after all that hard work too! We are sorry you are missing out on the event. Please contact [email protected] to inform the event team of your withdrawal. DO NOT PASS YOUR RACE NUMBER on to anyone else, it potentially puts them at a medical risk, we have no medical information or emergency contact details for them. Medical deferrals may be accepted if we receive medical evidence from a GP or Physio up to 4 weeks prior to the event.
